I just suspect that there were other things going on with him that we don’t have knowledge of that caused the coaches to say no.

Whether it was grades, a poor attitude, or drug problems, I don’t know. Just my thoughts.
I get that we have been actively reeling in Ojulari and Webb as our top options as outside pass rushers, but all indications are that he wanted to commit, and we flat out turned him down.

Any truth to this? And if so, why?

247 has Harris predicted as a future first round NFL draft selection in the mold of Aldon Smith. Just doesn’t seem like the level of talent that LSU would have passed on under normal circumstances.

Vol, it seems like with Jarrett, Burton, & Boutte all being elite WRs and all being solidly committed at this point that Koy Moore would be one of the more logical defections that the staff might consider to make the numbers work..

Any thoughts on this?
Georgia has a star-studded offensive line. Of course they can.

Our recruiting has to improve 10-fold IMO just to get in the conversation.
That radio interview today and the fact that he is committing in public in Baton Rouge speaks major volumes.
of Port Neches, TX (Beaumont Metro Area)...He’s currently committed to Texas, who by the way, is completely sucking it up in recruiting this year.

He’s rated at the #43 overall prospect nationally at any position (#5 OT) by 247, and you couldn’t get much closer to the Louisiana state line than Beaumont. Hopefully us whipping Texas into shape in Week 2 will turn his head our way a bit.
In my personal opinion, the first half of your screen name about sums you up. Drop the Longcock, and just be yourself.
Well, regardless of what he thinks about Paul, Woodward clearly looks to have a much bigger set than Alleva ever though about having.

That’s the main takeaway here. He doesn’t appear to have any interest in rubbing Paul’s shoulders like Alleva would be doing.
I get it fellas....PMS simply runs rampant on this site, and there are several that tend to think that their questions to insiders and their opinions are the only ones that matter.

I really could give two shits what anyone thinks. Lol.

What I would like to ask is why this couldn’t be the OT committed to Texas (Tyler Johnson). He’s ranked right on the fringe there at #34, and more importantly, he’s from nearby Conroe, TX just north of Houston.

Seems like he could fit the bill.
1. Has he made an unofficial visit to LSU recently that the media is largely unaware of?

2. Is he currently committed to another SEC school?

3. Is he just strongly considering at this time, or is he already a silent to LSU?

The suspense is killing me.........

Well, I got absolutely roasted on this board for stating that he never actually tampered and that he just planned to do it, but backed out.

I should get a damn medal for calling this shite if it actually plays out like that.
Capo. I was actually seriously laughing about it, because if it does happen, we foched.
Jeaux Burreaux is a true difference maker from Day 1. Jamar Chase and Terrace Marshall are good enough that they are both starters in our 4 WR sets.

The defensive front 7 is truly elite as we all suspect, and to everyone’s surprise, Kary Vincent is far more effective at the CB position than Donté Jackson ever was when he was here.

LSU loses to Auburn and Bama, but beats everyone else to go 10-2 on the season and somehow sneaks into the #4 seed in the CFB playoffs.

LSU defeats Bama and Ohio State in the playoffs to win a national championship.

I say a penalty reduction to 1-year and 4 games in 2018 is fair. 2 full years is total BS for a 4-year college term, especially given that we know that the real sample did not test positive.
Well damn. Pretty much proves the attempt. Why even submit the real urine to UCLA for testing then?
I'm still questioning whether or not they can prove that he even made an attempt. He got as close as you can get, but where the NCAA is drawing the line is presumptuous.

If you take their side, you have to say that once Kristian held the cup from the outside source, he was already pouring the urine into his sample cup. I say that he changed his mind and altered his course. Now he may have folded under the pressure of knowing that he was being walked up on, but he still folded and then somehow gave his own valid sample which came up clean for PEDs.

If he was truly caught in the act, a reasonable protocol would have been for the administrator to complete the testing form at that time as "tampered," and an actual sample should never been submitted to UCLA for testing.

This shite ain't over with unless the Fultons have an awful attorney.
A 2-year suspension is damn near a life sentence in college football.

If he poured the urine into his own cup and tried to submit it as his own, then I would say yes, more than a 1-year suspension is appropriate. I'm thinking 1 year and another 4 games the next season max though.
It's really hard for the NCAA to argue actual tampering when the kid throws away the other urine on his own accord and then submits a real sample of his own to the administrator. Forget the fact that it came up clean for PEDs.

I'm sure that they have a nice, neat little definition that says that this is attempted tampering, but we're lacking any form of actual execution here. It's kind of like saying that you attempted to have sex with a minor, but there was never any forced submission or penetration of any kind. More like you pulled it out, either thought better of it and backed out, or a parent walked in, and you put your pants back on before any signs of initiation. In either scenario, there is no evidence of even an attempt to have sex. It's just that the second scenario has a ton of gray area.

The kid needs to file an injunction and take this to court if the NCAA is dumb enough to not see the gray area here.
