Alaska Guide Creations Cub Max.

Fits way more than you think it can and is very well made. I will be walking into the deer lease this season with it and my bow only.

Why? Absolutely nothing indicates that they do.

re: How far out for snapper?

Depends on where you run out of. You could run 8 miles out of Grand Isle and hit snapper depth. On the other hand you may have to run 30-50 miles out from Cameron.
Going to be my first attempt at turkeys Sunday & Monday. Not sure what to expect other than a lot of walking and learning. Hoping I get lucky.

That's crab bait.

I don’t think the Pats cheat at all.

How can you sit there and physically type that knowing that the Pats have been penalized for outright cheating? Multiple times.
This ice water bath soak stuff needs to stop. It ruins the meat. Why did this become a thing? I know everyone seems to do it, but it's just unnecessary. Not to mention, you're asking for salmonella and all kinds of bacteria.

I'd choose Sierra all day, everyday, and every day in between. This chick ain't ugly, but Sierra is a grand slam.

Go 'stros btw.

I haven't shot afterwards. Will definitely be doing that to check here soon.

My first neck shot on a doe today

Posted by misterfab on 10/28/17 at 9:01 pm
I've heard all of the pro neck shot talk here on this board and decided I'd take a neck shot on the next doe that presented the opportunity. I had that opportunity today. Her head was down. She was at 90 yds in a clearing. My trigger pull was smooth and my crosshairs were dead on. Mid neck. After the shot I look up and expect her laying there in the dirt immediately. To my absolute astonishment she jumped, gave the hind leg kick, and ran off. I was floored. I was 100% confident in the shot. Regardless I get down with my tags expecting to find her off in the woods some ways. My father and I searched for 3 hrs high and low and found not a single drop of blood. I'm in disbelief and feel sick to my stomach.

I double checked everything at the range Thursday. I was DEAD ON dead on at 100. I've taken a doe at 238 yds before no problem with perfect placement. A 90 yd shot with a scoped rifle should be a layup for anyone. Yet here I am.

I know that most of you are going to say well ya just missed, but I cannot stress enough how confident I was in my trigger pull. She's hit. Is there any other explanation that there wouldn't be any blood from a neck shot? Am I missing something?

And what's up with that salt block? Did you build a frame around it?

Yeah that's what that is. Just a 2x4 frame to lift it off the ground and to possibly deter the hogs from pushing the salt block out of the camera view.

Hogs laughed at that of course.

Probably coming out of velvet right now. These pics were from September. He's only on camera at night. May never get a shot at him, but if I do he's going straight onto the wall.

I don't know enough to score antlers. What say you?

Charter Passenger Licence required?

...if I already hold Basic + Saltwater licenses? Or is the Charter Passenger License for those without Basic + Saltwater and just going on a charter trip?

The pixels? It's a game camera. Who the hell would photoshop tags onto a deer? What would be the purpose?

More pictures here.
