According to the Austin Police Department, Texas A&M cheerleader Brianna Aguilerat who was found dead after the school's football game against the University of Texas died by suicide...
quote:

Remember ... Brianna Aguilera -- a 19-year-old student at the university -- was found outside a campus apartment complex around 1 AM Saturday, hours after A&M's 27-17 Friday night loss against rival Texas.

Detective Robert Marshall of APD says she was found with trauma from an apparent fall from a high floor. Cameras showed Brianna arriving at the apartment building around 11 PM Friday before heading up to a 17th-floor apartment.

A large group left the building around 12:30 AM Saturday morning, cops say ... leaving Brianna and three other women in the apartment together. Brianna had lost her phone earlier in the evening and borrowed a friend's to call her boyfriend. Austin Police officers say the call took place from 12:43 AM to 12:44 AM -- and, two minutes later, they say she leaped from the building.

Officers later recovered Aguilera's lost phone ... and, they discovered a suicide note written days before Brianna's death addressed to specific individuals in her life.

Detective Marshall says, "Brianna had made suicidal comments previously to friends, back in October of this year. This continued through the evening of her death, with some self-harming actions early in the evening and a text message to another friend indicating the thought of suicide."

I love how the original article completely failed to mention a 17 story apartment building. I was picturing a 3/4 story walk up where she could have been assaulted or something.

Attorney and Texas A&M University Former Student, Tony Buzbee, has been retained by Brianna’s family to represent them as they seek answers to the many questions surrounding their daughter’s death. They insist that the suspicious circumstances don't add up.

I’d like to know why the university allowed her access to such a high place when she has a history of mental health issues. They’re about to be sued into oblivion.

Horrible logic. Is someone from Texas A&M supposed to follow a girl around that they likely had no idea was suicidal 24/7 to ensure she doesn’t go into tall buildings. Anyone can go to a tall building or bridge and jump. Like wtf are they supposed to do? Is this person from TAMU supposed to follow her around everywhere to ensure she doesn’t self harm? Bad logic.

Additionally to highlight how dumb your comment is. This happened in an apartment complex in Austin. Is TAMU supposed to call every single apartment complex that is tall, and warn them that a student that is potentially self harm prone (which they likely didn’t even know that) may come to your apartment complex, so be on the lookout and make sure you tell every door guard that may work any shift on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend. Take a lap man. Go on, shoo, take a lap.

Damn, that’s just a travesty! Beautiful young lady…we just don’t know what others are going through! I wish she had got the help she needed before ending her life. Pay attention to your friends and family, you might just save their lives.
