The Vols' last five losses, going back to November 22, 2014...

Alabama 19 – Tennessee 14
Arkansas 24 – Tennessee 20
Florida 28 – Tennessee 27
Oklahoma 31 – Tennessee 24
Missouri 29 – Tennessee 21

Whatever it takes, I guess.

Why not 20 games, "70 PTS" didn't seem to have the same luster?

Let's just go all time while we're at it. 3042 points, why not?

I think the significance of the "last 5 losses" thing is that the 2014 South Carolina game (aka when the referenced 13-5 stretch started) is when Josh Dobbs took over and it truly became his team. We were a vastly different team previous to that, with Justin Worley under center.

IOW, that's the turning point when the team started to look less like a team of Dooley holdovers and more like the team we are now, and since then UT has played a lot better overall.

25 points. 50 first dates. Whichever. They're not getting lucky either way, it seems.

I think that's the entire point. If you're that close, it's time to start getting lucky.

They should have with 20. As in games in a row lost to Bama and Florida. If that doesn't motivate them, nothing will.

Technically we are 1-19 in our last 20 games vs Bama and UF thank you very much
