I have no idea how these games got awarded to any south american country. Their lack of any substantial organization has been mind blowing over the years. The education system is basically non existent as is health care. Over 3/4 of the continent lives below their poverty line which is saying a lot. You're talking about a continent and country that has been run by drug kingpins for decades. I've been to this place and it was amazing how many lacked proper sewage and adequate shelter.

Am I the only one shocked by how unbelievably disorganized Brazil is... I had no idea. I mean I didn't think they were USA, Japan, Germany type of savy, but this is a cluster in every aspect.
