So many people whined that the players should get paid - and look where are now. I guess the worth of a scholarship was nothing. Idiots.

Agreed! Players used to get free tuition, free rooms, free food (the best in the university), free tutoring, free books and supplies, and to top it off, the chance if they were good, to get a multimillion dollar job straight out of college. Those poor players!

The media giants probably want to see influencers become coaches than people who actually coach football. It fits the operating model of NIL
