Hey guys. Taking the wife to Charleston SC for her birthday weekend. Is there an LSU alum bar to watch the game? The only thing I've found was JohnKing Grill & Bar, but that was for the national championship. If not, where would be a nice place to post up for lunch and booze?

Not sure of any official LSU alumni bars. Some good bars to watch and eat would be:

Charleston Beerworks
Bay Street Biergareten
Burns Alley - more divey
Hope Team BBQ - can be a younger alumni crowd sometimes fyi
Closed for business
Salty Mikes

Not sure how old you and the Mrs. are but that should be a good jumping off point. Enjoy Charleston

The Rooftop Bar at the Vendue It is a nice bar and they have a big tv but I don’t know if they are open at 11:00 in the morning.

Bay St Biergarten
Charleston Beerworks
Edmund's Oast Brewing Company
Mac's Place
Meeting and Market (never been but seems upscale and lots of big TVs)

Charleston actually has a kind of shite selection of good places to watch games

No alumni bar I'm aware of and I lived there for 4 years

Closed For Business is closed... unfortunately. I loved that place.

Check out the Shem Creek area, there's a bunch of good spots in a close area so y'all can hop around. Tavern & Table is really good.

Meetin and Market is a cool spot to watch the games, but it was a little upscale. But tons of TV's
