Fredericksburg Tx for their Octoberfest weekend is a fun time if that’s your sort of thing. Plenty of options in the area for other activities.

Breeze has 2 round trip flights MSY-Charleston for $328 total, highly considering this now.
ETA: Didn't realize Charleston/Savannah were over 2 hours away from each other

While you could “see” both in a long weekend, you need more time to experience either.
There is a lot more to Charleston. Stay on the peninsula- not the beach. Get around by walking, pedi cab or Uber. You do not need your car if you are going to the beach or historical plantations. Book your restaurants now.

Vegas for Halloween is a blast. Definitely worth doing if you haven’t.

Charleston is the only answer. Great town for young couple. Plenty of spots to eat and drink. Lots of tours you can do. If you want the best steak you've ever had, go to Hall's Chophouse. Me and my wife went a couple years ago and loved it.

Update: We decided on Boston, gonna stay at the Encore Boston Harbor due to AMEX rate being increidble.

Should check out Bozeman/Yellowstone area for the future. Just got back from a trip with the girlfriend and we had a blast. The town has a lot of nice bars/restaurants, weather is amazing, and the people are so nice. Plus you’re only 1.5 hours from the Park with a ton of outdoor stuff to do.

Agreed. The wife and I got back on Saturday. We stayed in Island Park however. Flew in and out of Bozeman. Yellowstone is amazing.
