Typically fly American and no real complaints. I do enjoy that they have been adding powerports to their planes such that now there's plugs or USB outlets at almost every row. I will say there's room for improvement with their crews, total crapshoot as to whether you get great flight attendants or lazy ones. I reward the good ones with certificates and send in complaints about the bad ones

EVA and they are much better than Singapore Airlines in every aspect.
No. Just no. This is by far the most ridiculous thing I have heard. Singapore hard and soft product combo can't be beat. Even by Emirates. I see why people like Emirates but it is just a little to gaudy for me. Singapore and Cathay ooze class. And from the looks, JAL too.
Also - no US carrier will ever come close to some of these oversees carriers. BA is probably in contention of being the worst with UA.
Also I think it is important to mention that if you are comparing a particular product, which looks like the OP is trying to do, that completely depends on the particular aircraft. For ex: The picture above is Singapore A380, which is a little different from 77W and much different from 772.
If you are comparing solely the soft product - Singapore blows the competition out of the water. CX, ANA, JAL close seconds. Western Carriers in the mud somewhere playing a whole different game.

BA can hit you with fuel surcharges. Other than that they are vastly superior to United in every regard for an overseas flight. Their business class pods on an A380 are a thing of beauty.

I see what you are saying. They are good no doubt, but I have never been a fan of the 2-2-2 config to begin with. I also had the opportunity to compare BA and Jet Airways (herringbone) back to back once on connecting flights and BA just loses on overall soft product.
But I will give you that BA J is certainly better than UA J, which is really coach in any decent airline. I am also really biased against UA because they have by far been the worst flights I have had.

Yeah, I'm flying United coming back from the USVI on July 5th. At least I'll be in premium economy.

Oh and Doha airport is insane. and Qatar business and first lounges are so incredible they're almost silly. It's worth it to fly Qatar business or first at least once If you can just to check out these lounges. They serve the Dom and Krug in their lounges!!
If you are in one and you don't question - but why? You're an Arab

I hate that place, you have to check in a sealed off area for your flight and you better use the bathroom before you go in because they are not letting you out.

Same with Riyadh. When in the ME, just do what they say and don't question things except why is this lounge better than my hotel room?

All this is predicated on who you you've flown, but of those I'd have to day Emirates. Love their A380

Domestic: Delta, SW, United/AA. Haven't flown Virgin/JetBlue.
International: ANA (some of tGOAT stewardesses
). Phillipine Airlines was good.

I will say the UA flight from IAH-NRT I took a few weeks ago wasn't terrible. Although I'm a poor and can't do business/first on intl flights yet

I predominantly fly in coach as well. I'm just saying United business is a joke and their actual coach should be illegal

Of the international companies I've flown with, Austrian Air was pretty solid, KLM is just Delta with a different logo, SAS was good, and Veuling was by far the worst.

I really don't like UA, but have found them to be pretty good on their Caribbean & Mexico routes out of IAH.

Game changer. Why don't other airlines do this?

Because JetBlue is goat for domestic flights. It's like one big business class.
