Thanks for the advice. 6AM would be rough with my plans/convincing my travel mates to follow along but that salt lake one is doable.
Worst case I may just stay in Cincy and come back Sunday on the direct out of Cincy to nola. Would prefer not to extend the trip any longer than necessary though.

14mph winds out of the NNE, not sure about the gust speeds but thats still flyable. You should be fine!

Flights for tomorrow morning for the wife looking good so far. Inbound flight to nola is leaving Miami in an hour. I'd expect her flight to St Martin to be completely full if not oversold, they cancelled the flight yesterday so lots of rebookings needed
