I’ll be in Oklahoma City this weekend with a girl I’ve been dating for a couple of weeks.
I’m looking for restaurant recommendations and things to do in the city.
I know this area isn’t really discussed on this board but I thought I’d try.

Go get drinks and eat at the bar at Mantels downtown

Ludavine is good, too

For things to do, go to a Thunder game, go see the OKC Bombing memorial downtown, walk around the river walk area. Go grab drinks and dinner down there.

Onion burger isn’t a panty dropper but I appreciate the recommendation.
I’ll definitely try that out next time. I travel through there a lot. I’m in oil and gas.

Don’t have truck nuts so I’m not a baw.

I went to Cowboys in OKC one time in college. It's like country bar mecca. I got free skoal, there was gambling, bull riding, wet t-shirt contest and a big arse dance floor with hot women. Another cool place, I ate lunch on the club level of the baseball park downtown. It was a weekday and no game going on, but pretty cool view while eating lunch.

Picasso Cafe in the Paseo Arts District is good. For pizza,Sauced on Paseo is a good spot w/ outdoor seating, live music and craft beer. Oak and Ore is a great craft beer spot w/ good food.

The Memorial is an obvious one.

I really liked the OKC Zoo as well
