Honestly, I have no idea. That place sucks. I consider Joplin to be Oklahoma's.

Several years ago we ate at a steak house that was owned by a former New York Yankee. A lot of cool pictures and the steak was good. Kind of a dive place but it was crowded. All I can offer in Joplin

Jesus God, that is flyover country fer sure.

If pressed, I'd probably head East towards the Missouri Ozarks and poke around.

May the Lord have mercy on your soul.

Seriously, drive 45min south into NWA.

Go to downtown Bentonville and visit the Walmart museum, eat at Tusk and Trotter.

First go Crystal Bridges Art Museum - but that is closed on Tuesday so I guess not.

If you just have tonight, go see a movie near your hotel.

LSUfan gives good advice. It's an easy drive down to Bella Vista and Bentonville. If you're into mountain biking, go ride down there. Otherwise, visit Crystal Bridges and eat on the Bentonville square. Tusk and Trotter isn't a bad rec, but I'm really high on the Pressroom currently.

If you like more casual, check out Pedaler's Pub for some woodfire pizza.
