Cruz to Coral is about 30 minutes or so. Salt pond is another 15-20 beyond Coral.

Go west through the rock quarry and you can have Little cinnamon beach all to yourselves.

We never even made it to Trunk Bay. The day we tried it was just too busy and there were other great options.
We made the best of a hurricane day and had Trunk all to ourselves.

You have to go through customs to fly back to the US?

We absolutely had to go through customs. Asked questions about why we were there, how long we stayed, what we did, did we have anything to declare....some folks had their passports stamped...etc.

THEN we had to go through the security screeners.

30 ish minutes. Not too many miles, but the roads are all long, slow, winding, and climbing. Cruz bay to the salt pond trailhead is prob 40-45.

Part of the fun, man. Just roll with it. I am preparing my liver. We are squeezing because we have a few passports not back yet from renewal. May not be doing our BVI day trip.

Yeah, 7 days on White Bay is going to take its toll on my liver as well.

Seems I have a serial down voter on the travel board.

I appreciate your insight. We will be doing a captain’d charter in a couple years in the BVI for our next go round down there.

I've lost my focus...all I think about is various shades of aqua blue water.

His comments over the years are the reason I started looking at St John and when a person I know passed unexpectedly I booked the trip because there aint no moral victory being the richest guy in the graveyard.

Thank you guys for the kind words and sorry about going off on the downvoter. I just don't get it when this forum and a couple of others are for helping each other and sharing. I guess you can take the forum out of the OT but you can't take the OT attitude out of the forum.

Our view starting next Sunday.

VABuckeye, did I read that the BVI is still requiring a negative test to enter? Kinda surprising as I figure they are hungry for tourism dollars like everyone else

VABuckeye was very helpful in my first few USVI/BVI trips. Just got back from St John a week and a half ago on our 6th trip and can’t wait to go back. Especially to Soggy and Foxys!! Until next time.

I plan to be right here on Monday afternoon, watching the sun go down while kids swim with the turtles.

Believe this is still true. We just did St. Croix largely because of that.
