Your Elote and Mariposa reviews are right in line with mine. And from my memory Mariposa was slightly more expensive.

glad you had fun, but you missed some of the best hikes in sedona, including the west fork and boynton canyon.

Yea west fork was on our list... but it is/was a 6 mile hike and we just didn't have time for it. Next trip it is high on the list. When coming back from the GC I realized there was a whole other world of hikes along 89A that we didn't consider. That area will be the focus next time make the trip.

Curious about the arch you found on Fay canyon. We did the hike, and then went up the face of the big Boulder at the end and couldn’t find it. But on our walk back we ran into a flute playing hippie who brought us to it along a side trail at about half way. It was a really cool arch in the cliff dwelling to the right and matched the pictures. It was about 5 minutes off the side of the trail. Did you find a separate one at the end of the trail or is this the same one?
