Take the Amtrak cascades train to Vancouver for beautiful scenery.
Pike place market is cool.
Lowell’s restaurant makes some good drinks.
Check out pioneer square.

We flew on a charter plane to San Juan islands... was my favorite part of the trip. We did the whale watching tour but after my PNW trip, I wish we would have stayed a night or two in San Juan islands.

FYI that's peak tourism season for them as far as I know because its peak Alaskan Cruise season. Nothing wrong with that, just be prepared for high airfare and hotel prices as well as places being busy.

I’ve been looking at that time and hotel prices are astronomical. Rethinking our vacation due to high cost of hotels and flights.
