Saturday morning flight out of BTR

Supposed to fly to Puerta Vallarta Saturday AM, should I be looking at pushing flight to Sunday or Friday, or trying to fly out of Lafayette/NOLA? Should I just wait and see if we get waivers?
Normally would just roll with it and wait and see but will have a baby with us and also monitoring a storm in the pacific so might have to change destinations entirely lol.

The current track should not effect BTR. At worst, you will see more turbulence.

Well now having to change destinations to Cancun, do we think Saturday afternoon out of MSY will be good as well?

Your biggest potential risk is the plane not being in MSY to fly out. If you tell us what flight you're booked on, we can try to figure out where it is coming from. If your plane was flying in from, say, Memphis or Charlotte to MSY, there's a decent chance the plane may not be there (it'd be flying through/around the storm remnants.) If it's coming from Dallas, it'll probably be fine.

Looking at the 1:50 PM Breeze flight out of MSY. Looks like the plane only flys to msy and cancun so I should be good?

The change in the track of the hurricane further East says yes.
I'm looking at FlightRadar, and the flights from Monterrey to Cancun are flying right through the worst of it. VOI5586 (Volaris), VIV2173 (VivaAerobus), and VOI3514 (CUN to QRO.) Flight tracks like they are following would never be done by a US airline if they had any choice.
