Anyone ever live in Miami? What are your thoughts?
There are a bunch of open roles in my company in Miami. I am considering applying for roles and possibly moving there if it works out. I've been to Miami once for a quick weekend trip but I got a skewed view of the city. I feel like I didn't exactly fit in around there but that was in South Beach as I'm not an OT baller or Cuban.
I'm 27 and single FWIW.

Learn to speak spanish. Are you actually going to be in Miami, or elsewhere? Its a big place, i mean a lot of people call "miami" an area of about 60 miles down of beach.
It would be a great experience for a couple of years at least for sure.

It looks like the office is downtown Miami about a mile from the American Airline arena where the Heat play.

Love Miami it's got a lot going on....I would think you would really need to learn Spanish. It may not be essential in your job but it would be very helpful navigating there. It is truly an international city.

I'd try to live in ft lauderdale if you can swing it - closer to downtown the better

Lots of friendly older Cubans. Make friends and go watch them roll cigars.
Learn to to love coladas. 10x stronger than an espresso.
Not a fan of South Beach. All butt implants and ballers.
