looking for a nice hotel convenient to the strip. Like to find something around $300 including resort fee. Any suggestions. TIA

Flamingo
MGM Grand
Paris
Mandalay Bay
Planet Hollywood
Go any combo of dates Sun-Thurs and you should be able to stay on strip within your budget at the above properties. Join MLife (MGM Rewards) and Caesar’s Rewards and book directly with the property.
You can book the Hilton tower at the brand new Resorts World for about $100/night plus taxes and resort fees.

My two favorites are Caesar's Palace and the Venetian.

Cosmo is good. Check rates for your dates.

Resorts World is nice but a little bit distant from center strip

Stayed at Paris earlier this year and was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was on a renovated floor and was very nice. Excellent central location on the strip; it’s right in the middle. Would recommend.
MGM and Mandalay aren’t particularly convenient to anything else. Especially Mandalay. I would look middle of strip just for ease of getting around.

Stay Mid strip for less walking. I recommend Mirage or TI. I'll say it till I die: you can do anything you want at the Bellagio except sleep there without paying their prices

Should be able to get something at the Cosmo, Bellagio, or Caesers for around that. Can def get Mirage/Hard Rock for that price.
Most convenient locations on the strip IMO.
If you are an Mlife member, you should be able to get Bellagio for 180/night depending on status level.

We stayed at the Paris and it was fine. You could do worse. Sure, it’s not the Bellagio, but it’s centrally located and good value.
The Cosmo is sweet. Also love the Aria ground floor since they have both Javier’s and Din Thai Fung.
Just an incredible restaurant city these days.

Was there for work last month for a week. Be prepared that prices on everything have gone UP even since when I was there last year. Food and drinks are really high.
Me and a buddy got a couple of chicken sandwiches, one side and a frozen drink each at a stand up place in Aria and it was $60. Nice sit down dinners are a couple of hundred. Beers are $12 and cocktails are $15 and up.
