Wife and I are going through counseling and one of the things that the counselor suggested was taking trips by ourselves. I am pretty much a home body but do want to get out by myself. Any single guy excursions i should try out?

Did texas ren fest by myself including camping out and am ready for more.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I’m not a big golfer so don’t look forward to that but I am up for anything.

Do you live close to an airport? I’ve been going through a “WTF am I doing with my life?” phase and decided one day to check Spirit Airlines’ website for ultra cheap flights to cities I’ve never visited. I haven’t limited myself to Spirit destinations, but kind of use them as a starting point.

So far I’ve been to San Francisco, Memphis, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale.

Vegas travel is incredibly cheap right now. The last time I was there, my main “to-do” was a ride along experience at Exotics Racing (I’ve also drifted with them, both are equally exhilarating). Other than that, I just basked in the sun at the hotel pool and enjoyed a couple of nice meals.

With the exception of SFO, I flew out early Saturday morning and came home early(ish) Sunday evening.

Best wishes to you and your wife, where there’s a will there’s a way .

Let me introduce you to this cheap airline ticket finder: https://greatescape.co/

Just enter your travel dates, and it shows the cheapest flights all over the globe.

Nothing specific here but for every trip my wife and I take together we make sure to take one without each other. Whether that be with friends or not. It’s equally as important to do things by yourself for your own health. Kudos for you on this. Enjoy your travels!

Tenn, Ark, Big Bend hiking. Guadalupe National Park hiking. Big Bend is pretty remote to plan for that accordingly. Key West. Charleston. Maine.

Depends on what you like. I've done SF, NYC, Chicago, Boston, & DC by myself and had a great time. Go check out some museums and historical sites, get a great dinner, then go PTFO in a nice hotel room. Pretty awesome.
