p&g simply has some weird takes. Between this thread and the Fallen Oak thread on the golf board, his opinions are basically worthless.

I get disliking Disney. It's not for everyone. But his reasons for disliking it are childish af which is ironic.

If he wanted good food, he ate at the wrong places. If he didn't want to wait in lines, he went at the wrong time and/or had a terrible game plan. If he wanted to avoid people, he could have done the 100s of other things to do outside of the parks yet still on property.

Methinks he does not get out much.
It is by far my favorite theme park ride but it pales in comparison to seeing Neuschwanstein Castle in person for the first time. Or even looking across the mountain sides while hiking in Colorado. I love our Disney trips but there is nothing there that I would call the most amazing experience of my life.

Now, that may change once the Star Wars Hotel opens. We shall see...

Again, this is extremely childish.

Childish.

Disney has great golf on site. Disney has the highest rated restaurant in Florida. Disney utilizes more explosives than any company on earth. Disney puts on some of the best races in the world. You can waterski at Disney. Completely avoid buses with private transportation directly to the front of park gates from your hotel room. They have condos available with full kitchens and laundry. Complimentary service to and from the airport which includes baggage service directly to your room without you have to touch it once it's dropped off at the airport. Cirque Du Soleil. Rent your own boat. Swim with sharks. Hotel hop to any pool (except storm along bay). The hotels also have the best food besides disney springs.

Much of this can be done with children and their enjoyment, too. And there are other things, of course. Point being, it's not just about cartoon characters.

Getting the stroller from a 3rd party so you can have it at the resort

We just got back also. First thing i noticed in you post is the stroller- took a 5 and 6 year old, mainstreet strollers has this buggie, looks like a beach cart, that was the greatest thing ever. I bet 100 people asked us about it. had room for 2 kids that were too big for a stroller.

LOL, just letting you know. Those "strollers" are currently in the gray area of what is acceptable in the parks. "wagons" are prohibited but a "stroller" is not. Since it is a push instead of a pull, they are letting it slide as a stroller. I suspect that there will be a clarification coming soon from Disney Parks since those are hot items right now.

I would recommend dinner at Disney Springs a night or 2 depending on length of stay.

Their restaurant selection is very good, and shopping in the Disney Store is a great place to pick up souvenirs

Nintendo land is going to replace the area where Barney and the kids water playground is, some other stuff there too. It’s a few years out. Google it.

They’re building a 4th universal park in Orlando by 2025 and Nintendo land will be there. No one knows what’s taking over the kids zone area but it’s going to be something for Asians apparently (Pokémon or a hello kitty area). They are putting a Zelda ride in islands of adventure supposedly but that’s not set either.

Other rumored attractions for the 4th park besides Nintendo land are more Harry Potter rides (ministry of magic I believe) Jurassic World and possibly lord of the rings/middle earth. Few things would give me more joy then wandering through the shire and then trekking over to Mordor.

We are going back for Mardi Gras. I think we are doing all parks 1 day and AK and MK two days. My kids are 6 and 9 so they love the rides. We are doing AK two days strictly bc of flight of passage and Everest. That’s our favorite two rides in all of Disney.
