Marriot options to stay in Denver?

Headed to Denver next month was recommended the hotels below. We want an area to walk around, eat, drink, and see the city and probably catch a Rockies game. Also, headed to Red Rocks for a show do any of these hotels or areas have buses that will take to and back from RR?
Jacquard in Cherry Creek
Clio in Cherry Creek
Ritz Downtown
Brown Palace Down

I like the Cherry Creek area of Denver a lot. Lots of good restaurants, shops, fairly easy to get to downtown and other areas from there, and when I was last there in February, the bums and the homeless had not moved in there yet!

Ritz is your best location for access to drinking and eating. For the Rockies game, easy walk to Ballpark for bars, etc. Otherwise, you can walk across Commons Park to LoHi for places like Lazy Jane, Avanti, Prost, Happy Camper, Williams & Graham, etc. RiNo will be the popular neighborhood for drinking and food trucks. Shorter Uber. Downside is the homeless and drug addicts downtown. Personally, I don't care a ton because I'm always in LoHi or RiNo, but I understand why it would bother people.
Cherry Creek is very nice, but not my scene, personally. Obviously, you avoid the homeless problem, but it's much more residential and centered around shopping. There are a few good restaurants, but not many bar options. Worth a stay if you don't mind the Uber ride to Ballpark, LoHi and RiNo.

CID runs a shuttle to red rocks for shows. When you buy your tickets there will be an option to add that, they pick up in two locations at about 630

Downtown more central, but more sketchy and dirty. Pick your poison. I’d do Cherry Creek and uber, but that’s just me

There is a lot of sightseeing in Cherry Creek

We stayed in Cherry Creek when we went. Upscale, no homeless, but an Uber ride away from anything you want to do in the city. It depends on what you want really.

We just stayed Downtown on 15th and felt completely safe. There were a few homeless here and there but no large groups.

No it isn't. I work downtown. Both RTD stations are overrun with homeless but they do not bother you. I take the bus at RTD Civic Center a few days a week so speaking from experience. The rest of downtown is fine except for the area by the old Great Divide Brewery on Park which has been homeless central since I got here in 2011.
If OP plans to be in bed by 10 every night then Cherry Creek is fine, if not stay at the Ritz. My office is across the street from Brown Palace and there isn't anything good around it.

What show you going see at Red Rocks?

Maybe ‘overrun’ is slightly exaggerated, but downtown is definitely the sketchiest part of Denver. Lots of screaming and cars revving engines past midnight. Certainly not as bad as areas of cities like Portland/Seattle/SF, but definitely not the ideal. I lived a few miles away from downtown for about a year and it was enough for me.

That's awesome. I'm seeing Joe Bonamassa there this upcoming weekend. Cheers!
