Have not been in several years. Would appreciate any suggestions of things to do.
Thanks in advance.

Some nice lounges downtown at the Circa and Plaza. Oscars at the Plaza is nice. Strip is a cluster. Cosmo is my favorite place to stay on the strip.

As far as shows go
Absinthe is the best
Opium is decent
Shin lim is great
Also try and go to a ufc event.

Any cirque show is a great way to spend 2 hours regardless of cost

I mean, that depends very much on the kinds of things that you like to do.
Maybe you want to relax and get away from it all and play a few rounds of golf, all while enjoying a family-friendly atmosphere? Then the JW Marriott Resort on the other side of the town from the Strip might be for you.
I kinda doubt that's what you're looking for, but that's the thing about Vegas: it has a lot of very, very different kinds of things to do.

We just went a few weeks ago & saw Mad Apple at NYNY. Highly recommend. It’s a new Cirque show, but different than the others. It has comedians, magicians, rappers, a band, and the acrobatics between acts. It was a lot of fun.

We went in June and I posted a thread about it. We stayed at the Venetian and it's pretty nice. Went to Absinthe, Mob Museum & Speakeasy, Zack Bagan's Haunted Museum and Freemont St.
I recommend Mon Ami Gabi, Eataly, Gordon Ramsay's Pub and Grill and also Wahlburgers if you've never been to one.
