Stay at a place like Somerset on Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. Simple, relaxing and a beautiful beach with many choices of great restaurants.

This, Just came back from our second trip to Grace Bay.

Beaches is all inclusive. Very large property with a lot to do. If you don't mind kids around somewhat, it's great.

No. You can spend as much or as little as you want there. I’ve seen people load up an ice-chest from the liquor store and bring it to the beach. Others order frozen drinks from the wait staff.

Sandwiches from the local deli or Steak at Ruth Chris on-site.

Lay by the pool for free or gamble in the casino.

It’s up to you. We upgraded to Tradewinds club and it was worth it. Upgraded room plus many other perks like free food, beer, wine all day.

We don't really mind kids, as long as they are not ours and we are not responsible for them

For those that have been to Somerset , what did you typically do there? Lay by the pool and beach all day? Are there other things or activities around to do? Close enough to walk somewhere or into town?

The pool area is great but quiet with a bar/restaurant right there. The beach is beautiful. There is a small catamaran type sailboat, paddle board, snorkel equipment and a few other things available free to people staying there. My wife and I did yoga one day. There are nice bikes available for free to ride into town and to grocery store. You can walk to several restaurants down the beach or the concierge can arrange a ride for you to go anywhere. Our room was a 1500 sq ft villa with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer. If you are looking for a wild party I wouldn't go here. If you are looking for incredibly nice and low key this is the place. My wife and I will go back as often as possible.
