Mentioning the Monkey Temple made me revisit the video of you telling the story of the monkey driving the bang bus that crashed.
Have fun and a safe climb my friend!

Not sure I'd want to piss off a Hindu priest in that part of the world. Who knows what kind of curse he might put on you.

He is fighting internet availability and data limits. What he is posting is on Facebook live. I am guessing he will update this site upon return.

Good morning. Internet is spotty. I’ve been in Namche Bazzar x 3days doing an acclimitization schedule. Up and down daily. This place is excellent. Met the oldest Sherpa on the 1953 expedition. Talked for over an hour. Food is great, tmrw we head out for about 6 hrs going down first then up to Tengbouche and then move the next day for two addtl days of acclimation. It’s a Garmin personal tracker. It has his personal information that I won’t share without his permission. Sorry.

Update Boston911 has made it to Lobouche.

Upon arrival to base camp, what is expected next? Hang out for a few days before descending?

Awesome story!

Without knowing his itinerary it does seem that they'll probably stay there for a short time and retrace their steps back.
