Cuse, flight from PAP through MIA to Nola on Wednesday got cancelled and rebooked to Thurs afternoon. Puts me in a bad spot with when I need to be in New Orleans. What do you think chances are that flight even leaves in the first place? And also would Delta through Atlanta be an option for Wednesday? Thanks in advance

Was your flight from PAP cancelled or from miami to nola? If you can, theres a flight from PAP to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow evening. Spend the night there then head out on wednesday from either miami or fll (with a connection).
The delta option through atl also looks good, storm should be gone there by wed. Delta has a lot more seats available than american.

Looks like a Delta 757 (DL 1270) is making an unplanned stop at BTR today. Was on its way from ATL to PNS, not sure why the diversion. Anyone near the airport for a pic? LINK
ETA: Nola has several diversions that were headed to ATL. An A319 from Managua LINK and a 738 from Panama City LINK so far

The international flights will go to MSY given that they have CBP support there.
I'm guessing conditions at PNS weren't favorable to land and the pilot needed to divert. Interesting that they passed up MOB, GPT, and MSY.

Only answer i can think of is MSY already had some diversions and couldn't handle the extra flights? Btr-atl cancelled every flight except the 530pm as well so ground crew may not even have been around. Weird situation

Your 738 will come from dfw or ord the night before. It looks like american has been cancelling a lot of the small flights or lga-mia so far

Expedia has been quiet so that's a good sign, they are on the spot when things go sideways in my experience.
Thanks for the info!
I am sure it has been asked, but how are you such a flight guru?

We all thank you for it! You do good work!
Can you tell me which flights to follow when Butch tanks the season for Tennessee?
