How early to MSY for flight departing on a Friday afternoon? Best choice for parking?

How early should I arrive for my flight on a Friday afternoon so that I can comfortably proceed through the security lines and get to my gate? If it helps, I'm not checking any bags. Also, any recommendations for cheapest parking route at the airport? I don't mind walking but the forecast calls for rain so a shuttle service to the terminals would be nice.
TIA
Eta: JetBlue, no priority access and will be parking.

Time of flight? Precheck? Priority access? Airline?

I always do 60-75 minutes prior to the flight

Its never taken me more than like 15 minutes to get through security at MSY, IF that.
However, the one time I showed up late it would be the one time the lines were long.
I'd give yourself at least an hour just to be safe.

Now that you say you are parking obviously longer. I always try to avoid parking there if I can. I'd rather spend extra on an Uber there and back than park there.
However, I would give yourself at least 120-90 minutes even if that may be overkill.

Flew to Dallas Friday on a busy Labor Day weekend
Got to Park N Fly 2 hours before flight ~5pm (thank god I had reserved parking because they weren’t taking any more “walkins”)
Not having to check bags and already had boarding passes on phones, we were both through security by 5:40ish
I had precheck but had to wait on my wife in the regular line for about 15 minutes.

The last time flew out of MSY, it took a little longer than usual. From the curb to the Delta lounge is usually less than 3 minutes. This past time it was 4 since the lady in front of me needed assistance.

This is the way to go. Cheaper than parking in the airport garage and the shuttle picks you up at your car usually pretty quickly.

Hell I showed up and parked in short term on Wednesday... arrived 40 mins before my flight. No checked bags but had pre-check... didn’t matter line was empty. Had time to pee and board. Perfect timing in my mind.

Being a tourist and convention city, the security lines at MSY vary greatly depending if there is an event or convention in town. And a lot of the really big conventions aren't even well publicized to locals.
I find the Long Term parking at MSY to be only a bit more expensive than the Park N Fly etc lots. Their advertised price is cheap, but they add on all sorts of fees and taxes. The price marked at Long Term parking is what it is and includes everything.
I like to be driving into the LT parking garage 90 min before flight. I don't have pre-check and generally don't have to check a bag. That gives me enough time to park, get through security, grab a bite to eat or drink, and catch the plane. I hate having to feel rushed in the airport.
