I need some TD help.. help me plan some activities
I am currently working in southwest Houston ( only there 4 days a week so don’t venture just grind work) and my kids 6 and 8 want to come for a long weekend over the summer but I seriously have no clue What to do or see and are good kid friendly events. I have tickets to a astros game for the Saturday and was thinking about staying at the Marriott Marquis downtown.
They plan to arrive Wednesday afternoon and leave Sunday.
So need events Wednesday night, Thursday, Friday, saturday (half day)
Ideas? Is there enough to do in Houston or should I plan a trip to Galveston and just head up Saturday to game?

There is the zoo.

Dave and Busters is right next the movie theater. When my nephews come to visit, I get tickets to whatever movie they want to see then go to D&B an hour or two before hand. That way there is a set time to leave and I can take a nap in the movies after.

The science museum is incredible. Tons of dinosaurs and the taxidermy area is pretty cool as well.
Zoo is great. And NASA!!

Repeating everything said lol. Natural Science Museum is top notch and the zoo is one of the better ones in the country.

The zoo is nice but over the summer it will be damn hot. The park has a train too.
NASA
There's a waterpark in Katy if your kids like that
Museums
If you want to see a different baseball experience, the Sugar Land Skeeters
A day trip to Moody Gardens and/or Schlitterbahn
