Headed to Hot Springs for a long weekend just the wife and I and looking for some fun things to see and do. Any pubs or breweries that are a must and good places to eat. Any fun hikes or other suggestions that are a must. TIA

Deluca's is a must in Hot Springs.

McClard's is the most famous restaurant there, but is not that great anymore. Feel free to skip it.

The Garvan Gardens has a botanical garden and several well maintained hiking trails. Also has a lookout over Lake Hamilton.

Definitely Superior Brewery. Rolando's was good Mexican.

Not much to do in hot Springs. Go to Mountain View Ark any weekend in October or early November. The leaves will be changing colors and beauty abounds. No alcohol sold there so bring you own. Lots of bluegrass music everywhere. I Go 3 times a year. Mostly old retirees and lots of young musicians. Check mountain view webpage for events and dates. A very quaint little town. It's America's best kept secret. They will be playing in the town square. Bring your guitar. Get there Weds or Thursday cause the weekend goes too fast. Stay in any room at Pinewood cabins if not full. Eat a Fat boy pizza at Tommys pizza. Get some beans and cornbread at Kinfolks BBQ. Best HB in ark. Go tour Blanchard Cavern for breathtaking tour. Never go in summer, too hot. If you go, come back to site and let's us know.

Back porch grill for the best steak in Hot springs and cajun warf or cajun broiler for seafood.

Make sure to get out and hang with the locals. Don’t sit in the resort all day. I like to get out and drink with the natives and watch the Hot Spring locals make tamales in the front yard.

Is Coy's Steakhouse still there by any chance. Also, what shape is the old Arlington in these days?
