I was looking at your review of Cleveland in the sticky. Are you still doing your summer trips to MLB games? I’ll be leaving Monday for my 6th summer in a row. Going to Arlington to see the Rangers, Kansas City, then Denver. Dad’s and son’s trip. After this year we will be halfway through the major leagues. Any good food recs would be appreciated by anyone.

Yup, I still do my summer MLB trips. I've hit two stadiums so far this summer (1 new) and will be visiting 1 more (new.)

Good time to check out Arlington since they will have a new stadium next year. I always buy the cheap seats and go up to the Jack Daniels Deck and eat/drink while watching the game

Barrios in Cleveland is a must and across from the stadium. What area are you in?

We actually did Cleveland last summer. I was reading your review just to see if we hit any of the same spots. We were able to do R&R Hall if Fame which was really cool. It’s myself and 4 good friends along with all of our boys. 12 total. Hit Pittsburg before Cleveland which was one of the best.

Nice, I've done SD and Houston so far this summer. Have one more planned and that will be it.

Next year I'm looking at KC, Denver, and Oakland for trips

I’ll fill you in on KC and Denver. We did SD on a west coast trip along with LA and Anaheim. Might go west again next year to Oakland, SF and Seattle.

Get on the first base/right field side of the stadium. It is shaded. Left field looks directly into the sun until late in the game and it's hot as balls.

Seattle is at the top of my list of stadiums that I have yet to see, along with SF. Atlanta is great...plus I’m a Braves fan. Took the family there last summer for 2 games. It was a great trip, and The Battery area around the park is really cool. Get there as soon as you can.

I have actually been to Arlington and Rockies myself but not on our current guys trip. Houston also. After this year, our group will still need to see Tampa, Miami, Blue Jays, Detroit, Cincy, Twins, St Louis, Houston, Braves, Boston, Philly, Arizona, SF, Oakland and Seattle. Our plan is:
Boston and Philly
Atlanta, Tampa, Miami
Minnesota, Detroit, Toronto
Cincy, St Louis
SF, Oakland, Seattle
Arizona, Houston
6 more summers God willing. Then any new ones...Arlington for sure.

Ive been to every park but I can’t really help you out in this one because it’s been about 14 years since I last went to the rangers park and I was drunk as shite in kc and don’t recall what I had. I’ve been to Denver a few times already but don’t recall what I had there. I know the Helton burger is their big thing but I got something else. Obviously the massive bar in RF is the big draw and I’d like to get back to watch a game up there.

This thread got me thinking though. Should we start an MLB suggestions guide thread? We can compile things from experiences such as great places to watch the game (I got $13 seats behind home plate in Cleveland but would have loved to catch the game in the RF party area had I know about it), great stadium food and great beer location
