The area between the #2 green and #7 green was my favorite spot the year I went. Only went to a practice round and Thursday, and we spent most of Thursday in that area after walking the course first thing in the morning. Gives you pretty quick access to #8 green as well, where a lot of action happens.

Shared a table at the TBonz bar with Annika Sorenstam and some of her friends a few years back. They were packed as frick and hostess said if we could find a bar table we could sit. She saw us eyeing up the place and offered us her table, as they were finished. They just ended up staying and had 2-3 rounds beers with us talking golf.

I take it that it's frowned upon to be overserved at The Masters unlike some tournaments?

There will be six of us, so I assume we'll Uber it over. I assume it will cost an arm and a leg to do this, right?

Last year Uber signed up 130 new drivers the week before masters and brought 100 or more from ATL. That flood of drivers held surge prices down to a minimum. Uber DID NOT raise prices Masters week. They were probably the only business in Augusta which did not raise prices.

Found this on trip advisor. Feb ‘17. I would think there is at least some markup

Both times I've been, we've gotten there early and parked ~100 feet from front gate.

Walked in, immediately knocked out gift shop. Went back to car and dropped off the goods. Then back in and got coffee and chicken biscuit for breakfast and walked the whole course.

Practice round is easy to hop around and watch. Went on a Sunday and just posted up in bleachers of amen corner for majority of day.

Gift shop get crazier as the day goes on, I recommend doing it first.

I know what you were going for here and since this isn't the OT I won't kill you over this. There is no spectator area by 12 green/13 tee. You meant 11 green and 12 tee. Yes this is a great spot to put your chairs.

Ah yes, my bad. Meant 11 green and 12 tee. Here are a few pics I took from the seats (plus menu!)
