Anyone have any recommendations on what to do there, where to eat, and anything else cool to do?

TIA

Don’t just stay at the resort. Get out and mingle with the people and learn their culture. While walking around San Diego you may even see the locals sitting outside making tamales in their front yard. Don’t just stay in the resort, don’t just stay in the resort, don’t just stay in the resort. And after you visit and you stepped 3 feet outside the resort come back and tell everyone how cultured you are.

I’m sorry, I wasted your time

I was just being retarded. There will be plenty of people chime in. I’ve seen people speak about San Diego a lot on here.

You seem to travel a lot. A small group of us will be in Isla between June 20-30.

Bring the Mrs and come on down...

The USS Midway is a must-see. Even if you’re not into history/military, it’s absolutely incredible to walk in and around on an actual aircraft carrier. You even get to stand in the actual “situation room” thing where the admirals planned and coordinated the Desert Storm airstrikes.

Also walk over to Tijuana for dinner one evening and eat at Caesar’s. Great, old school joint where they invented the Caesar Salad . And definitely get the Caesar salad - table side presentation and it’s actually worth the hype.
