Would love to hear any can't miss spots in San Juan that anyone can provide. Honestly I'm just so happy to finally be going on a trip I don't even care what we do at this point.

I thought you were referring to Pearl River.

Stay at the Ritz Carlton Reserve and play TPC Dorado Beach.
Sorry that's all I have planned so far for my trip next June.

What part of the city are you staying in?
If you want some chainish but good mofongo try Metropol. If you want a small little bakery with some solid sandwiches and amazing quesitos try Kasalta, although it's the opposite side as Old San Juan and in a more residential area.

We're staying at the Marriott Isla Verde for two nights then heading to Vieques for a few nights.
Not sure what part of the city that Marriott is in.

I'd love to but this is a 30th birthday trip for my wife so I'd like to not get stabbed for taking 4 hours out of the day to play.

I agree, marmalade was one of the best meals I've ever had. Go early and have a couple drinks at the bar. I still talk about a cocktail called "global warming" that had a chili infused ice ball in it that obviously made the drink spicier as it melted.
Their white bean soup is perfection.
