Check out the Cabinet War Rooms.
It's just off St James Park near Big Ben.
Its the bunker that Churchill used to run the government during the Battle of Britain.

yeah, war rooms are awesome.
I'd also get out of town. Some beautiful countryside with castles and shite.

Look at all the unrealistic people on the bus advertisements--see it now before it goes away!

Peckham is one of the most culturally vibrant places in all of London. Take plenty of cash & bring a camera so the locals can pose for pictures!

The beer is going to disappoint you unless you get out of the city, all the pubs are chains and have the exact same 12 or so beers on tap.
The coolest thing we did was get up early one morning and walk around by Westminster Abby, then to Big Ben. Just looking down and seeing the dates carved into the sidewalk near the Abby was awesome, just after sunrise all the hoards of tourists haven't gotten out yet either.
The food was also largely forgettable, we went to a few high end places, a few places we thought looked cool just walking around, Along with eating at several of the pubs.

Check out this place called pop brixton in the evening time... A bunch of metal storage containers piled up and converted to little bars.

Fish and chips. Cup'o'tea. Bad teeth. Worse weather.

Eat lots of Indian food in Soho. Traditional British dishes are crap.
Hop on the Underground and get lost. Camden and Knotting Hill are very cool areas.

British Museum too.
Hit on a real classy Nordic-looking chick. Blond hair, high cheekbones, gray-blue eyes, mocking accent. Rep us rico suave.

Go to Ben's Cookies.
There's one at South Kensington station. You could then go to the natural history museum and Kensington gardens its all the same area

The tate modern and natural history museum are both free, just throw a pound or two in the donation bucket and enjoy the art.
