Late August and September is usually a great time for nice water.

Water color/ clarity all depends on recent rain. A lot of rain brings sediment from the rivers which equals dirty water. It could be clear all month and then a day or two of heavy rain and be dirty.

June Grass is usually in mid June to early July, there is still a little around but it should clear up from here on out.

Here now and the water is crystal clear, but one storm can change that.

I've seen the water go from crystal clear to almost solid with weeds over a 2 day period. Asking about the conditions now for a trip 2 weeks from now is wasting your time.

Not sure what else you have planned, but we enjoy Big Kahuna water park as well as the beach.

Places to eat the pancakery was legit for breakfast and McGuire's has very good steaks and craft beer.

Water in Biloxi was amazing this past weekend. Would assume Destin would be great as well.
