I worked at the Olympia Tea Room two summers (a long time ago) and saw him there about a dozen times. I’m sure he’s not there full time but it seemed like he was there a lot during the summer.

I definitely believe you. I’m a fan of his podcast and he’s mentioned many times that he still brings his family to his parents’ place in the summers. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t thought of driving to RI one weekend in the summer in the hopes that I run into him.

Ocean House Watch Hill RI
Watch Hill is a beautiful under the radar resort community. The homes in the neighborhood are gorgeous. Great boating, beaches, and golfing. You can practically see Montauk from there. The ferry to and from Long Island is close by.

We are doing a trip in July. Flying into Burlington, VT, spending a few days in the Adirondacks and then driving to Maine for a few days. Fly out of Portland, ME

We flew into Burlington a few summers ago and spent a few days house hunting before going to Montreal. We really enjoyed Church Street. I ate the duck confit poutine at Leunigs French Bistro like three times in one visit. There was a breakfast place by campus we liked a lot as well but can’t recall the name.

Could be Sneakers in Winooski. That place has been packed since the 90s.
Handy's is another solid place for breakfast in Burlington, just like 5 blocks off the bottom of Church Street.
