Heading to the Grand for Labor Day weekend. I've read mixed reviews on the food offerings on grounds so I was thinking about heading to Fairhope one evening to eat dinner. What do you all recommend as some good dinner options with kids?

TIA

District hall is great with kids. Live music most nights.

Bone and barrel is great too.

Jesse’s, Wash house, camellia are all in our dinner rotation. We request sitting on the bar side at Jesse’s and typically request an early time for camellia when we have our kids.

Sage is great but I’ve only been for lunch. Dragon fly is another good one but I’ve only been at lunch.

I’d personally skip eating at the grand

If you get to dinner early, try Bucky's on the property. They have a new menu and it isn't half bad. Bucky's is traditionally the piano bar, but since the renovation, they are using it as a restaurant. Limited seating and it gets crowded since it is really the only good food option on the property.

This was how it was Memorial day weekend. they may have made more progress since then.

Pinzone's in downtown Fairhope has a very cool Italian atmosphere. However the food is average.

I think the Mexican/Asian fusion stuff they put out at Dragonfly is outstanding. Decent beer selection as well.

The Windmill Market is a fun little spot. Pretty good food vendors in there. Also has live music.

There was a Mexican place between Ravenite Pizza and The Yard Milkshake Bar that was pretty good and is probably kid friendly. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name. And I didn't make it to The Yard, but it looks amazing.
