The driver finds a place to chillout, I've done pool side a few times, or power through and prepare for an early night will the adult aged passenger deals with the kids. Next day is a little rough, but plan the day accordingly with a park that you know won't be too demanding and caffeinate your way through. Have done the Disney drive 3 times and I am usually solid by the 2nd day.

If you leave at 2am you'll get there around 1pm local time. Whoever drove will be exhausted and the room probably won't be ready. Then what?

This is DisneyWorld, buddy. You suck it up and hit EPCOT first. Start drinking by 2pm and have one of the hardest nights of sleep in your life that night. We don’t drive but we fly out super early so this is how we always do our first day, we leave for the airport around 2 in the morning. If the room is ready early enough we will take a nap before going into EPCOT but we still sleep like babies that night.

EPCOT is a complete waste of a visit if it's not the food and wine fest. Go to Animal Kingdom.

I forced my kids to look out the window (pre-teen, no phones) for an hour on any trip, and not use devices.

We have a 1/1/1 rule for long drives:

1 hour of screen
1 hour of reading/"activities"
1 hour of window time

We always left about 9 pm, I drove straight through. Get to the area about 7 am or so, go to an IHOP near the parks. Eat, change the kids, drink coffee....go straight to the park for Day 1.

Leave the park about 6 pm go check in and let daddy sleep all night like a rock. Get up and hit day 2 refreshed.

Drove home same thing.

My memory is tons of deer, big arse deer in my headlights right off the side of the interstate starting in MS. I'm trucking 85, if a deer had run out we're screwed.

One giant buck in MS standing right on the centerline.

Those were good days, fun times when our 3 kids were little. We went 3 times before they were 10.

Edit: Worst was one of those trips we left at 9 pm, bad wreck on interstate at Satsuma. Less than 10 miles from the house were trapped on I12 for 3 hours. Didnt get started driving till midnight. Still went ahead and drove all night but tough.

I had to look that up, but like Soaring, it's one ride. If you don't buy the tickets that allow you to hit multiple parks without restriction in the same day, it is a waste of time. You like dumping a park ticket for you and your kids for an entire day to wait for two rides, and an aquarium (also available in a city near you?)
