That avatar flight of passage is the best friggen ride ever. Today was my 2nd time to ride it and we were next to a huge group of baws and their bawettes from Alabama. They kept yelling “Sivako!” I was dang near tears laughing at them. Man that ride is awesome.

Crowds are too much. If I could do it over again I’d wait until after the election.

What does the election have to do with the crowds? We are going for Thanksgiving and i am getting nervous with all the crowd info. I would love for the crowds to go down after the election, just wondering why you think that?

It was a joke about how the virus is going to go away after the election. The crowds won’t be any lighter in my opinion. They’re steadily growing each week. While we were standing in lines I made it a point to talk to the cast members to ask about the crowds. They all had a sort of scripted response but as you pushed them they all admitted they were larger than last month. They all talked about how it was limited to around 25% capacity, but that’s not 25% of average capacity, its 25% of total park max. They only reach max capacity once or twice a year.

If I knew then what I just experienced I’d pass. Lines were regularly 40-60 minutes and longer for several of the big attractions. When you put in waiting that long for rides, dealing with the mask all friggen day, the parks severely limited hours, no fast pass options, no shows, no fireworks, all for the same price without the option to park hop.... I’m not going again until it’s back to normal.

Don't sweat it and bring him. They are nazi about it at the front gate, but very much relaxed about it inside the parks for all little ones in strollers. You might run into a rare nazi inside the park, but all you have to do is have the little guy put the thing on for 2 minutes until they walk away.

The mask, especially when 100+ degrees out, is horrible (and useless), but they have a lot of empty tables at closed food areas that you can sit and take maskless breaks at. We have annual passes and have been 4 times since they re-opened. So personal experience witnessing tons of 2-4 year olds given a pass if they were in strollers.

You can't get any pictures taken maskless is the biggest negative to bringing the little ones.

If you aren't stuck on Disney, there are other parks in the area, and they might love to spend a day at nearby Legoland. Legoland has much looser mask requirements, with under 8 not required to wear them. Adults only have to inside buildings. They've got some pretty awesome hotel/park deals too.
