Has anyone paid for this extra and was it worth it?

Seeking opinion from someone with experience.

We did this back in November at Magic Kingdom. You didn't say which park you are looking into. I think it was good and bad. The time goes by really quick. If using that as your only MK day, i would say dont. That is what we did and we felt like we missed alot of stuff that we usually enjoy at MK. All the rides were walk on and we were able to stay on Big Thunder to ride back to back. You do get time to have pics done on main street with very little people out there.

We’re doing Early Morning Magic for one of our days at Magic Kingdom during the week of Mardi Gras. Planning on riding the Peter Pan ride and Big Thunder Mountain a couple times before the park opens. Saves us some Fastpasses and we get breakfast too. I know you’re asking about After hours but, just wanted to let you know about another option.

on riding the Peter Pan ride

If you’ve never done it this is a very overrated ride, Winnie the Pooh too. There’s a couple rides at magic kingdom that routinely have absurdly long lines for no reason and this is one of them.

Not at all trying to be a Scrooge, I’m trying to think if there any any rides at MK that are so great I’d intentionally wait longer and honestly I’m not sure there are? I’m not saying they are terrible, just simply Id mostly recommend just ride whatever has the shortest wait.

Just pointing something out to you, early morning in MK is only fantasyland and future world. Other spots don’t open until rope drop. It is nice though. Only thing that will have some wait will be seven dwarfs. Do everything else you want in those two places and then ride seven dwarfs until rope drop. Everything including Peter Pan, space mountain, etc will be walk on.

Yes after hours is nice as long as you can stay awake. Less crowds and less heat from the sun is always better.

we did this at MK this past spring and really enjoyed it. In our opinion it was well worth it. this was our only MK day. couple things to note.... it was just gf (no pics) and i and no kids, so that was not a factor for us. and the other thing that some people don't realize, you are able to get in at like 6 or so that evening, a few hours before DAH actually starts, which really was good, and made me feel like we got our moneys worth. plus, free snacks and drinks, although we didn't just tear it down. all in all, it was worth it for us

Peter Pan ride

as mentioned.... i didn't ride this in july (family trip) because the lines were always so long and nobody else wanted to, so when were back in the spring for DAH, i wasn't going to skip it.... a huge let down for me. very much overrated and outdated. was perplexed by the whole thing with that ride....

If you enjoy back to back to back rides on Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain?

Well worth it for us.

Very worth it! The time goes by very quickly, so don't waste it on the smaller rides. Do big name ones like splash, space mountain, and big thunder

We did the villains after party last summer, kicked everybody out the park that didnt have wristband after fireworks and castle show and have whole park to yourself. Kinda pricey but we thought worth it. No lines on almost every ride, 15 minutes for 7dmt. Plus unlimited popcorn, sodas, and ice cream throughout park during party.
