What's there to do in Destin when it's raining and cold. We're arriving tomorrow for a week.

Weather's gonna be shite: rain and colder than anticipated. I have a tee time @ Indian Bayou w/ my 12 yr son. Trying to get another tee time somewhere else but waiting for to see how the weather will hold out.

Any other suggestions besides golf?

Unfortunately not much to do in Destin when it’s raining. Maybe bowling or movies?

We’re in same boat but further east in Laguna Beach. Week looks rough.

Eglin AFB Muesem is really cool.

They have everything from rifles and ww2 planes to fighter jets and nukes on display. And it is free.

Never been there, but the national aviation museum in Pensacola is pretty amazing. It's a bit of a drive from Destin, but if there's a day where you'll be stuck inside all day, you might as well make the drive.

It'll be a really long drive back if you can't get in:

That didn't pop up for me. I wonder what that's all about. I've been several times and have never heard about anything restrictive like that.

Since a terrorist murdered some people at NAS Pensacola in 2019, it has been restricted to people with a Military ID and their guests because it is inside the gates of the base.

The Eglin Muesem is outside the gates of the base near the Fort Walton-Destin Airport.
