My oldest grandchild is now 4.
It’s probably an eventuality to return, hopefully it will be 6 years or so.

I just got back. I thought genie + was great and by far made it the easiest it’s ever been to go through Disney with young kids
We were able to comfortably do 7-8 rides per park with zero wait time on each. For people that don’t like genie + are y’all trying to spring through and do every ride? That seems miserable to me
In the flip side I found universal awful and express pass was a complete waste of money and didn’t shorten any wait

Not necessarily. I like to have my day planned before I wake up. This means getting to the park early and leaving by 2:00, hanging out at the pool and then heading out for dinner. Having to wake up extra early to plan my day is not my idea of vacation. Staying in the park from rope drop to close is miserable.
Everyone is different, so it works for some and not others. For me, prior to Genie, I could have my entire vacation planned with rides, meals, pool time, etc all booked way ahead of time. Not so much with Genie.

Yes, if you go during peak days, Express doesn't do much. It's awesome on moderate crowd days.
