Where in the Baton Rouge area is the best option to get a rapid test for travel? Both vaxxed & unvaxxed in our group... Bahamas requires proof of vax or a negative test for unvaccinated. Anyone here fly into Nassau recently? Did you just show your card or test & they wave you through or is there more to it?

Crazy, right? They still have mask mandates in place in some places too, but inconsistent. Like required in stores & restaurants, unless it's at a hotel.

I would double check your source. Someone asked about that last week on this board, I can't find the thread, and a link was posted saying they changed the policy as of July. That link said tests and all that are no longer required.

Might be worth a call to the hotel.

Headed there next week, provided Invest 7 gets on outta there.

Un-vaxxed needs to bring a negative test.

In BR, the Lake after Hours does em. "Instant" results.

The link you provided says:

Yes, through Saturday, 18, June, 2022

Has this site been updated since July 1, 2022?

We went in July, I got mine done at CVS and it was no big deal - make the appointment online and show up at your allotted time. I really think they are one of the last countries in the world doing this crap. They were still big on the masks too, we got told several times to put one on when going into places in Exuma.

Thank you! I didn’t see their mask rules until about a week ago. Probably would’ve gone somewhere else, but going to make the best of it.

I recently traveled to an island in the Caribbean that required vax proof. If you want to remain a pureblood, I suggest photocopying a friend's card, do some photoshopping on the name, re-print it and voila. Works like a charm (i'm told), but considering the amount of attention mine was given at customs in the islands, you could just get a blank 3x5 index card and a sharpie and write "covid vax" in block letters and you'll be fine.

Airline staff when checking in looks at it more closely than customs in the Bahamas, and they still don’t look closely.

Find someone who has a negative test report and edit the pdf to your information and update testing dates to met the 72 hour requirement.
