Did a family trip last summer to Breckinridge and it was amazing. Very laid back not too busy

Biked, hiked, shopped, and most mountain towns have activities like zip lining, sledding, etc.

Cap off each day with a beer and dinner on the patio watching the sunset. Can’t beat it

Also there is always something going on such as festivals, bike races, etc.

Where in Colorado?

There isn't anything better than Colorado in the summer IMO.

Stay in Estes Park and visit the national park, go white water rafting, drink cold craft brews in downtown Estes, etc. i went last summer and loved it.

There isn’t a better mountain town in America than Telluride. Nothing even really close besides Jackson Hole.

Taking the family to Steamboat this summer. Boys will be 11 and 8. Any recommendations for must do activities? I’ve been several times to Steamboat to snowboard but never during the summer.

Colorado is bae. I just hate that it’s super populated and crowded now.

Everything has pretty much been touched on. A Rockies game if you can catch them at home was pretty fun also.
