Wife and I (mid 30's) are going to Columbia in September for the LSU game. We are going to fly into Charleston on Wednesday and spend a couple days there. Any recs on places to stay, things to do, restaurants? Wife will also be six months pregnant so a central location to activities would be good.

Was just there a couple months ago. We stayed at The Mills House, which was a great central location. I'd recommend checking it out. In addition to the places mentioned in the post above, we had a great meal at The Ordinary and I highly recommend it.

That is the way to go for the South Carolina game. Spend most of your time in Charleston. We have done that a bunch of times, including the year the game got moved to Baton Rouge at the last minute because of flooding.
