Can anyone recommend an half day excursion idea for Nassau, Bahamas?

Going with a group and I have been tasked with finding us something to do. Wives are involved. Fishing or Snorkeling would be great but I am not sure the snorkeling is that great off Nassau. Let me know if I am missing some hidden gem for snorkeling there.

And we have done with swim with/feed the pigs bit already.

Fishing probably the top thing we want to do.

Snorkeling is great there.

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas. Best dive shop I've ever been to.

We did some of the best snorkeling ever off Nassau.

Actually we went snuba diving, which I would recommend as well.

we snorkeled with those guys. had a great time. The best part was we were snorkeling and hear a big commotion going on. I look up and a boat had pulled up and was unloading those snuba machines. A big group of middle aged black women were on them and there was all kinds of squeeling and laughing going on. It was hilarious. Its always the weird shite you remember from family vacations.

Would disagree with Stuart’s being a good dive operator. They operate cattle boats, not small groups. Easily one of the worst operators I’ve ever done diving with. They kept dives to about 40 minutes as well vs allowing those with more air longer bottom times. Would absolutely never dive with them again.

They are definitely the largest operator on Nassau but are located basically an 45 mins to an hour from paradise island if that’s where you’re staying. They do have a shuttle service though.

I’d personally look for a smaller operation unless you like spending time with the masses.

What about fishing charters in Nassau? Has anyone here booked one of these and can recommend one?

When we went years ago we took a trip to Sandy Toes, it’s a small island they have setup with bars, buffet etc. Think you can swim with pigs there now
