Beware of this airline. They run 1-2 flights every few days. We had a cancellation and they auto-rebooked us a few days later. There is no phone number to call them, just a bot on a chat. There are no other flights that day. I needed a flight out that night and there were no agreements to rebook on other airlines or ask for a hotel.
I wound up driving 5 hours to Atlanta and grabbing a Delta one-way and obviously my rental car cost a bunch to one-way.
You are taking a risk on Breeze.

Yikes. I will be flying with them for the first time this Friday. MSY-TPA-PVD with no plane change. So at least if it leaves New Orleans, I won't be stranded. Will report back.

I’ve used Breeze a few times now from Tampa, Louisville and Charleston.
I’ve not had any cancellations; but, every single flight has been delayed. Sometimes by 20-30 minutes; more often by an hour or more.
Given their destinations are mostly small regional airports I can definitely see where it would be a debacle if you get stranded.
That said; mostly new aircraft and pretty cheap flights. The upside outweighs the risks for me.

I've flown with them twice without any issues. Both out of MSY, once to Fayetteville and the other to Pittsburgh. The seats actually have really good cushion.

If it leaves Tampa. Never know if there is a crew change or something at TPA.
PVD has great italian food, enjoy.

Used Breeze once right after they opened, MSY-CHS RT.
Everything was on time and fine.
I was attracted because it was the only direct flight and took the risk, at the time they were flying the route once daily.
For business travel, I don't know that I'd risk it.

Just booked Tampa in March for $58 to go see Joe Bonamassa. Thanks for the heads up.

Reporting back.... my first flight with Breeze went off without a hitch. Route connected in Raleigh, not Tampa, I remembered it wrong. Left a few minutes late from MSY, but landed in Providence a few minutes early. Stayed in Raleigh just long enough to get people on and took off again.
Water is complimentary, I was shocked. I liked the 2 seats per side as well. Did not feel crowded.

Husband did several Fayetteville to nola and vice versa this month. Direct flight and did not matter if he got stuck in either city. Was super cheap and a couple delays but nothing major.

Thought I would chime in with my first Breeze experience over the weekend. Wife and I flew home from Jacksonville to New Orleans Sunday. Plane had a mechanical issue and we had to wait while the other plane flew a route from Jacksonville to Norfolk, VA and back before it could take us to New Orleans which ended up being a 7 hour delay total. While yes that totally sucked I have to say the Breeze crew in Jacksonville were very upfront with info and accommodating. Also by the time we landed I had already received emails stating we were each getting $120 each in credits and the points were already in my account. $120 may not sound like much but keep in mind I only paid $39 each for these tickets. Talked to a few other passengers who regularly flew the route and they said they had never seen any delay like this. The way it was handled overall left me with a positive mindset and I will certainly use my credits to give them a 2nd chance at some point.
