Bloating/gas on long flights

Recently took a new job that requires a lot of traveling, something I’m not use to. The bloating and gas I get due to the pressure change I guess? Is killing me! Takes me a few days to get right again. Any tips from you travelers that may could help me out??

Even with trying to adequately hydrate ... flying constipates the hell out of me.

Get compression socks for long flights. Doesn’t help with gas/bloating, but they keep swelling in your feet and legs down.

Stop drinking carbonated drinks?

—Don’t dehydrate.....get a refillable water bottle and fill that sucker up after you clear security. Drink water throughout your flight. This is key: flying is like walking through the desert....hydrate as though you’re trekking across the Mojave. Staying hydrated has the bonus effect of forcing you to get up and walk to the restroom, another good tactic to reduce bloat.
—skip the carbonated beverages and crap food at the airport. Eat a mix of fibrous fresh fruit (like an apple) and something whole grain (like whole wheat crackers).
—avoid any foods you know will make you bloat (excess of onions, beans, cabbage and its cousins).
—walk as much as possible once at your destination. If it’s dark/late/schedule is too jammed, at least take the stairs rather than the elevator.

Intermittent fasting. You don’t bloat when you eat in small windows of time. You feel peak.

Just adjust that overhead vent so it is blowing down in your lap and let it rip.

Fart more. You'll feel better and as a side benefit you'll cut short the mindless chitchat of your seatmates.
Or figure out what in your diet is causing the bloating - dairy, wheat, etc and limit it before trips.
