Best places to stay on or near Biltmore Estate for a few days around Christmas?

I was just there and to be honest it is pretty easy to get to from anywhere in the area.
We stayed downtown, so I have no suggestions on closer to the Biltmore. The garden there is one of the finest I have ever seen. The greenhouses are amazing.

They have a hotel on the estate.

Anywhere in town is not far from Biltmore. I recommend in the strongest possible terms to do the nighttime candlelight tour.

We were there Christmas 2023 and stayed at the Doubletree Biltmore. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a short drive to the Biltmore. Would stay there again.
The house is amazing.

Been a minute since I was in Asheville but The Grove Park Inn was always nice. And it was always gorgeous during the holidays.

Grove Park Inn will be all dolled up for Christmas so it’s worth a visit and a drink even if you don’t stay there.
It will probably be too cold to sit outside with a drink and watch the sun set over the mountains (around 5ish that time a year) but in the summer it’s gorgeous

I'm just going to second (or third) the Grove Park Inn! The pictures absolutely don't do it justice. The views from the hotel are gorgeous. At a minimum, grab a drink in the lobby and park it in a rocking chair in front of the huge fireplace!

Our last two trips to Asheville, we've stayed in BnBs - you can get really great places at reasonable prices through
Town Property Management
They are based in Asheville and have many properties available.
