I don't fly as much as I used to, but MCI used to be the worst. I've heard they updated the terminals though.
HNL is pretty bad, and so is LIH, or they were several years back.
GSP is pretty nice for a smaller airport.
Hell LFT is pretty nice now with the new terminal, obviously you aren't laying over there, but the bar isn't bad for a drink before catching a flight.

Dallas Love (DAL) doesn’t get mentioned alot because it’s not a hub or tourist destination. But it’s awesome on its ease and simplicity.
SWA terminal is fine.

Heard good things about SLC. Philly is better than it was before the upgrades. But keep sleeping on AEX, haters!

Like many large airports, it depends on which terminal you are in. I just flew out of Tom Bradley at LAX and it was really nice.
The worst part of LAX is getting in and out of there. The horseshoe design is a shite show.

LAX is the absolute bottom of the heap of airports I like to fly in/out of. EVERYTHING about that airport is terrible.

SLC
should be the top 3. That said, I have only ever transferred through DTW and SLC, so my experience may be skewed by not having to park, clear security, etc.

LAS is nice. I fly united out of the new terminal. B, I think it is. I haven't been in the old terminal in years.

The terminals are new buildings with a completely different design. And there are very good restaurant/drink options.
The old terminals were innovative for the time with a short distance between parking and the gate. But security checkpoints started as soon as the MCI terminals were done in 1972; and that completely screwed things up.
I was a kid but can still remember flying TWA Constellations out of the old municipal airport next to the Missouri River, not far from downtown. My dad would take us there to watch the new jets from the levee.

Agree, if you go into Terminal D then its great, C is getting upgrades but is still old and musty.
Also, someone mentioned DAL earlier. That is a great airport. Easy to get in and out of, Rental car is 2 min bus ride, lots of food options, clean... Checks all the boxes.

Monroe is the best.
Walk up 10 minutes before the flight. Load when ya want.
3 gates.
Honestly..............we were delayed for over 2 hours there one morning. Delta actually went to Mcdonalds and got breakfast for everyone free of charge.
True story.............so will never talk bad about them again.
