Why is this the second thread in like a week that doesn’t know how to spell Pittsburgh?

We used to go to Station Square a lot when I traveled to Pittsburgh for work. It's kind of a walkable strip with some bars and restaurants. It used to be a younger crowd if that's what you want.

Carson St in South Side is a popular bar district. I didn't go when I was in Pittsburgh this past summer, mostly because I'm old and was told it's a younger crowd. Fat Head's there supposedly has good food, and I like their beer.

We mostly stayed in the downtown area. Strip District has several restaurants, but we only ate lunch there so no idea about the night life. Gaucho there has great Argentinian food. Downtown Meat & Potatoes was good for finer dining. Condado Tacos had a lively atmosphere as well. Tacos were just kinda okay though. Far from authentic.

Been a while, but I used to spend some time in Pittsburgh. There's a neighborhood called Shadyside; from downtown, it's on the far side of U of Pittsburgh and Carnegie-Melon and close to both. Quite a few good local eateries and some cool bars.

Been too long for me to rec specific places...

Monterrey Bay Fish Grotto offers great views of the downtown area. It is up on a mountain/ hill overlooking the area
